FlunixinMeglumin is a potent cyclooxygenase inhibitor used as an analgesic with anti-inflammatory and antipyretic activity. Veterinary class anti-inflammatory and analgesic, the drug is used in horses to relieve inflammation and pain caused by muscular anomalies, to relieve visceral colic in horses, to treat diarrhea, trembling, colitis, respiratory disorders, and eye surgery in foals. For use in cattle, treatment of respiratory disorders, endotoxin-induced mastitis.
