Oxalyl chloride is a chemical raw material for medicine, pesticide, paint, etc. It is used as the raw material for synthestic antibiotics in medicine, as the raw material for methacryl phthalate isocyanate in paint, and is used in the pesticide industry for synthesis of ultra-high efficiency sulfonylurea herbicide benzylflurane, and plant growth regulator.
