Product application: 
(R)-（-）-1,2-Propanediol is used as a raw material for unsaturated polyester resins, and can be used as a wetting agent with glycerol or sorbitol in cosmetics, toothpaste and soap. It is also used as a wetting and leveling agent in hair dyes, as an antifreeze, and in cellophane, plasticizers and the pharmaceutical industry.
